D&D (2024) Testing against the Gold Dragon

I could only view one by claiming it. Then I couldn't even see what 9th level spell she had, so I unclaimed it for someone else.

Ok, I finally found it the 9th level spell... meteor swarm huh?

I was thinking of a doing a round 2 with thread submitted characters, but the Dragon would have support that brought the encounter XP to the limit of High Difficulty, the Dragon on it's own does not fill it out, and can be backed up by stuff.

Are you going to finish the current example? I am finding it interesting.

yep can see them. Overall they look solid (no magic items correct?), only critique is that the wizard would have different signature spells for this day assuming a dragon fight (probably shield and the resistance 1st level can't think of the name).

But yeah not super optimized but perfectly solid 20th level characters.

I made them with assumption they didn’t know they were about to get into a fight with a Gold Dragon.

How likely would that be? I don't think it would be likely at all. You don't accidentally run into a dragon lair at 20th level.
