yep can see them. Overall they look solid (no magic items correct?), only critique is that the wizard would have different signature spells for this day assuming a dragon fight (probably shield and the resistance 1st level can't think of the name).

But yeah not super optimized but perfectly solid 20th level characters.

Minor mechanical note: The wizard can no longer make reaction spells like Shield and Absorb elements as their signature spells.

I have insomnia, and when I am trying to get back to sleep, I math out basic versions of various D&D encounters until I fall asleep. Since the new Gold Dragon stat block dropped, I've been using it a lot. My current level 12 Warrior of Mercy monk, elevated to level 20 but with the same gear as now (bracers of defence, ring of protection, and eldritch claw tattoo) easily defeats the gold dragon in 7 rounds, 1v1.

No you don't, the Monk can't fly.

Anyway will have Round 3 up in a bit.

A - running basic versions means putting them toe to toe and seeing who wins. As stipulated, I’m doing this in my head while trying to fall asleep. Geez.

B- the monk can’t fly but she’s way faster than the dragon, can run up walls, and is basically immune to its breath weapon. So that’s a draw at best, if the dragon makes the wise choice to fly straight up and escape, environment permitting.

The dragon either flees or dies. If it fights the monk, it gets wrecked.

Luca's turn is skipped as he is stuck in the Banishment. Loonas continues his dash to rejoin the fight.

Luca is dropped on the Blade Barrier at the start of the Dragon's turn (the breath weapon does not recharge). Luca saves and avoids damage from his allies Blade Barrier, but even with Uncanny Dodge he's unable to withstand the assault and goes down.

Elidira pops out to cast Jallarzi's Storm of Radiance Overchanneled to try and deal 40 damage instantly and leave another damage zone. The Dragon Saves for half and unable to get into the apartments for guests without going into humanoid form pounces to go after the fighter, or to wait to see if the casters pop out. But takes some damage from the Blade Barrier that it fails the save for, it decides not to use an LA for that as it only has 2 left.

Belamur peeks out and sees the downed Luca in the Blade Barrier, so he casts healing word to get Luca back up, and then Toll the Dead which deals some more damage to the Dragon. Luca is Banished again right after he wakes up sadly, and knocked back out by the Force damage he takes, ending Round 3.
