For those out there currently playing 5e, with the 2024 Monster Manual on the on the verge of being released, how are you planning to change (or not) your current game? Let us know how the 2024 updates affect you, or if you will keep on with 2014!

My group now all have the new PHB, so at some point we will switch over. I have not bought the DMG or MM and not sure if I will or want to. I can likely find the stuff I need to play on DDBeyond and at some point they will update the SRD. I'm guessing switching over by summer.

Sticking with 5e, no interest in 5.24. I think 2/3 of my IRL players would end up confused and making more mistakes with all the fiddly bits they added.

As I've said elsewhere, I'm also specifically de-recommending Beyond because there's no way to turn off the 5.24 versions of the rules, and I keep seeing people get confused and accidentally incorporate 5.24 content.

I have my copy of the MM...

I will not be changing my current game. That has nothing to do with my opinion of the rules - I just don't like making major rules changes late in a campaign.

When we choose the next game, 2014, 2024, and many other games will be on the table.

It's easiest to use the mostly new set of rules since future products will be written incorporating those rules, but there are some older things that I'll keep using since they're better. Most importantly, I'm using the orcs/drow from the 5.0 MM and Volo's Guide.
