I never do on your KS either. If the concept sounds cool, then I look at the tiers.

The only time I read the campaign page is if the things sounds confusing.

To be honest, half the time the campaign page never gets to the darn point to give a decent synopsis of the product.

Of course, if someone does not clearly summarize the campaign in the first paragraph, then I will not back.

It is sad, but sometimes the reward tiers serve as better summaries.

This looks wonderful. It's putting together a 5E resource for the worldwide gaming community in an attractive package. And then making that package available to this community for free.

And doing something like that ... isn't free. I'm not sure how that's hard to understand. I've put together some projects (not gaming related) for free distribution. My time was donated. The art, layout, and editing from others was not. Good luck to them, I know I'm in.

I don’t think anyone has a problem understanding this, all that was mentioned is that having actual printed books as a tier would have been a good idea

That certainly was not my intent. There have been a number of comments that basically ask "how can you Kickstart a free product." I apologize for any offense caused and I won't participate in this thread any further.

You're confusing "free to acquire/play" with "free to produce". The questions were about the former, not the latter.
