Best superhero movie of all time? (Nominations thread)

Im gonna get hate rained down on me for this but if I gotta say one, it's Watchman. I dont say that easily because outside of Dawn of the Dead, I dont like Snyder at all.

Watchmen is actually a really great adaptation overall, even given Snyder's penchant for over stylized action. I wish it was an hour longer.

Superman with Christopher Reeve.
Captain America: First Avenger.
Black Panther.
Ant-Man.
Guardians of the Galaxy.

Picking one of those as the best. Damn. Depends on the day.

Hmm. I will give you the Minutemen cold open, which was fantastic. And Jackie Earle Haley nailed it as Rorschach.

Howard the Duck might be a close second.

As a standalone film, Endgame is not particularly "good". BUT, as a culmination of a whole saga, it absolutely nails it.

Sometimes landing the capstone is all it takes. So many miss it.

Adrian's plan in the movie makes more sense than the one Moore swiped from an episode of The Outer Limits.

I am not a big superhero movie person at all. But I liked Superman I and II, and I enjoyed the first X men series and the Spider Man movie from the mid-2000s. And I also like X men days of future past and the first Iron Man
