Blade… I don’t know I don’t feel like it’s held up well. Don’t get me wrong it was very stylish and stood out at the time, but a lot of that had to do with just a dead genre of crap films. That and Bruckenhiemer Batman movies /shudder

Not in the superhero column, but the blood shower sequence is an all-time vampire movie moment, up there with the Theatre des les Vampires in Interview with the Vampire.

Adrian's plan in the movie makes more sense than the one Moore swiped from an episode of The Outer Limits.

Does it? The original plan was to unite the world against a supposed external threat. Dr Manhattan isn't external, he's a symbol of American imperialism, so having him run out of control isn't going to unite the world.

Endgame. But I honestly probably like Dark Knight and Winter Soldier better. But, arguably, because they're not actually superhero movies, even though they have superhero characters.

Same is kinda sorta true for Sky High, which I have to throw out there as a dark horse contender.

I just find it more poignant. The murder of Rorschach comes at the culmination of Manhattan's acceptance of the role of monster in Adrian's "noble lie".
