Not in the superhero column, but the blood shower sequence is an all-time vampire movie moment, up there with the Theatre des les Vampires in Interview with the Vampire.Blade… I don’t know I don’t feel like it’s held up well. Don’t get me wrong it was very stylish and stood out at the time, but a lot of that had to do with just a dead genre of crap films. That and Bruckenhiemer Batman movies /shudder
Why isn't Blade "in the superhero column"?Not in the superhero column, but the blood shower sequence is an all-time vampire movie moment, up there with the Theatre des les Vampires in Interview with the Vampire.
Does it? The original plan was to unite the world against a supposed external threat. Dr Manhattan isn't external, he's a symbol of American imperialism, so having him run out of control isn't going to unite the world.Adrian's plan in the movie makes more sense than the one Moore swiped from an episode of The Outer Limits.

Huh? I was saying the plan wouldn't work because of anti-American sentiment. You vastly underestimate anti-American sentiment IRL and especially in the movie.
I just find it more poignant. The murder of Rorschach comes at the culmination of Manhattan's acceptance of the role of monster in Adrian's "noble lie".Does it? Everything about that movie is great except Batman.Easy:
The Dark Knight
