Best superhero movie of all time? (Nominations thread)

Did anyone ever see Powerless? Its bad so dont worry if you didnt, but its about an insurance company in the DC universe trying to keep normal people protected against superhero collateral damage

I rented and saw this with friends when it was pretty new. The lack of budget for special effects is a significant limiter, and the script shows what a rushed job it was, but the casting is pretty awesome and we still laughed a lot.

It is fun looking back at it in retrospect given what Gunn's done since. Still casting his brother as silly characters, too.

To me it was fresh ground in the Supers genre. A mockumentary which was gaining steam at the time. Though, the humor is great and there is a lot of heart in the story. That all makes up for lack of special effects and dodgy script at times for me.

It makes for a great "slice of life" movie, special effects aside. I just looked up the budget. It was made on roughly $1M, in 2000, and was considered low budget. I have friends who are making movies and web series on half that, or less, currently.

I would say it's an absolutely midnight dark comedy about mental illness.
