We finished watching the first season last night. It was entertaining. Kevin Bacon plays an anti-hero bounty hunter. With his rugged and tired look, he is perfect for the role. If you liked Supernatural, you might like this. The ending allows for a second season. No idea if it will continue.

We have one episode left, and are quite enjoying it. There's been a few unexpected turns, and it strikes a good balance between horror and quirky. Plus country music (which I can take or leave, but I thought the last episode's rendition of "May the Circle Be Unbroken" was quite lovely). Be aware that there are graphic depictions of horror violence, which is a selling point for me but might not be for everyone.

My wife and I are 6 episodes in. It is funny: the least compelling thing about he show are the demons. But the characters and entanglements are pretty well done.

My wife and I are 6 episodes in. It is funny: the least compelling thing about he show are the demons. But the characters and entanglements are pretty well done.

Yeah that's my feeling - great characters, pity about the demons/mythology (or lack thereof).

I suspect that's in part because they're having to pack a lot in to 30 minute episodes.
