It’s basically what everybody is doing. There isn’t really any choice. We’re storing our US shipments from China in the UK warehouse until (if) it blows over.As for the delay, they seem to be doing the right thing (our the only thing they can I suspect,).
Yeah, it goes back to TSR D&D. You can see it today in a variety of OSR games, including Castles & Crusades, OSE, OSRIC, Swords & Wizardry and Basic Fantasy, most of which explicitly emulate TSR D&D.One thing that surprised me (a bit off topic I guess) is that the classes gain levels at different xp. Obviously this is an OSR thing, and this and shadowdark are the only OSR for things I've done (except for living through the original old stuff). Anyway, I'm not sure that dynamic is something I want to relive. I was curious what others thought about that.
Let me guess. “Why don’t you just trivially move your entire manufacturing and distribution base overnight? Preferably to a country which doesn’t have the manufacturing infrastructure, pls.”Boy, the commenters on that Kickstarter update really don't know much about the state of American printing presses, do they?
Yeah that was it. It turned into a politicalLet me guess. “Why don’t you just trivially move your entire manufacturing and distribution base overnight? Preferably to a country which doesn’t have the manufacturing infrastructure, pls.”
I‘m sympathetic to their plight with the tariffs, but this is the one thing where I am a bit displeased - in their last update they made it sound like it was only a matter of weeks until everything has arrived at their European and UK warehouses. And it seems now that this was never realistic in the first place. Was hoping that non-US backers would have been spared this nonsense, but I guess we're all stuck.
Yeah, it sounds like they dilly-dallied longer than they should have and then got hit by the tariff bus.I‘m sympathetic to their plight with the tariffs, but this is the one thing where I am a bit displeased - in their last update they made it sound like it was only a matter of weeks until everything has arrived at their European and UK warehouses.
