The state of the galaxy post episode IX hasn’t been touched yet, but it seemingly left both the First Order and the New Republic headless. And there is also the loose coalition of independent systems established in the Mandalorian TV show.

I just want a Rogue Squadron series, where Star Wars meets Black Sheep Squadron.

Well, this sounds better than another movie about Rey "Skywalker" who is actually a Palpatine but discarded it to call herself another name (hopefully she contacted whatever government is now in charge to make it official).

She may be in it, or may not, but at least it hopefully gets the Star Fighting portion of the movie right (something which the Sequels were pretty poor about. The only new Disney Star Wars movie that got Star fighters and space fighting right was Rogue One).

I dunno, I thought he was pretty good in Bladerunner 2049.
I’ve been a Ryan Gosling fan since Half Nelson, so I’m pretty excited by the announcement.
