Anyone want 44 pages of spells converted to 5e?

I've had to do this as time goes on- I appreciate the work here! I'm curious to see if you did Dimensional Anchor and if so how it compares to mine :)

Ahhh, forgot about that one!

I don't recall seeing a version of it in 3e or later, though I have a vague idea that there was a third-party conversion somewhere. I wouldn't swear to it, though.
Question from the void: Any chance of one more teensy update for Sticks to Snakes? I know it's been mentioned that Conjure Animals has a similar function but gee whiz if it wouldn't be gosh golly decent to have that specific spell in the list for sake of it.

I’ve been meaning to thank you @the Jester for these spells. I grabbed and adapted many of these for my Vanity Frankenstein 5e project and you saved me the trouble of having to compile spells to convert from previous editions.

It's not impossible, but I'm working hard on my homebrew system at the moment, trying to finish up a bunch of stuff so I can start running it. But I am a fan of sticks to snakes, always loved all those spells taken from the Bible.

This should pretty much reproduce the Sticks to Snakes spell:

Sticks to Snakes
3rd level Transmutation
Casting Time: 1 action
Components: V, S, M (a small piece of bark and snake scales)
Range: 90 ft.
Duration: Concentration, up to 1 hour

You cast down a handful of sticks or other wooden pole-like objects, which take the form of snakes and appear in unoccupied spaces that you can see in range. If the DM allows, you can target held wooden objects, though they must be non-magical and the possessor can make a Wisdom saving throw to prevent the wooden object from transforming. Choose one of the following options for what appears:

  • One Giant Constrictor snake (CR 2)
  • Eight Constrictor snakes (CR 1/4 each)
  • Eight Giant Poisonous/Venomous snakes (CR 1/4 each)

Each beast is also considered celestial or infernal (your choice), and it disappears when it drops to 0 hit points or when the spell ends.

The summoned snakes are friendly to you and your companions. Roll initiative for the summoned creatures as a group, which has its own turns. They obey any verbal commands that you issue to them (no action required by you). If you don't issue any commands to them, they defend themselves from hostile creatures, but otherwise take no actions.

The GM has the creatures' statistics.

At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using certain higher-level spell slots, you choose one of the summoning options above, and more creatures appear: twice as many with a 5th-level slot, three times as many with a 7th-level slot, and four times as many with a 9th-level slot.
