Back, no issues.

Figured out the issue with the "chest" machines.

I'm short.

This resulted in those machines becoming 'shoulder' machines, which I was loading up as if it was a chest exercise.

Shoulders my friends, are more delicate than your chest.

Been starting to feel this as we come up on 4 months of 5-6 times a week.

I'm pretty stuck on weight gain now, and the shoulders are just not happy. I'm going to start with 2 a days for May, and then likely cut down June.

I’ve been better at getting to the gym, more consistently. Now I just gotta keep it up.

The silly phone pose is just a bit o fun.

Yeah I'm only 1 month in to my routine and have no joint trouble or serious fatigue, so it's just occasional laziness to push through. Nothing to it but to do it.

Legs today. Fine.

Also had my Dr follow up, minor degeneration in the joint so he thinks its just the tendon being impinged. Considering what I've deduced from monday's chest day, I think I have a path forward.

I'm still going to do one more acupuncture to see if I can get some major relief, and then I just need to find a way to avoid those tendon's while still targeting muscles...

I am a creature of routine, so not doing my workout is not an option unless I am so sick that I am physically incapable - I think I've maybe missed one workout in the past year or so. This is actually a problem, because I will work out even when it would probably be healthier for me to rest. And I don't even like working out; it's just a thing that the doctor told me I have to do for my health so I do it.

I struggle with balance a lot. If get a stack of papers in to mark, I will not go to sleep until they are done, even if I am still marking at 4 AM with work the next day. If I'm painting the house I paint from sunup to sundown (this really annoyed my spouse). If I have a new batch of miniatures to paint, I paint pretty relentlessly. If I'm prepping a game, I'll have 20 pages of notes.

I'm trying to learn to let things go a little bit, but it's a project. I recognize that it's not great.
