D&D General DALL·E 3 does amazing D&D art

So, I had a little bit of a play tonight with Microsoft Copilot. Mainly trying to get some Jurassic World style art for a home project but the one D&D-esque came out like this.

A scene out of a Dungeons & Dragons game. A party of adventurers - a human barbarian with battleaxe, a elf ranger with bow, a dwarf cleric with mace and a human wizard throwing a magic fire spell - fight a band of horrifying undead in a subterranean chamber lit only by candles placed around the room. The undead might be zombies or ghouls.

Better than other AI online art platforms have done for me. Not sure why the elf looks to be shooting the barbarian though.

The one dinosaur related picture that sort of came out okay was this one. I think it tried to create a passenger and then gave up.

D&D spell illustration challenge, day 8: Chill Touch.

Kissing another girl on prom night is not a good idea, especially when your girlfriend has taken Necromancy as an elective.

Prompt: In a bright ballroom of a magical academy, a gothic teenage necromancer girl stands with one hand extended, a mischievous smile on her face. She wears blackk clothes constrasting with her pink-and-blonde pigtails, and has a small teddy bear clipped to her backpack. Her touch has just cast a frost spell on another student, who is now frozen mid-step, eyes wide in shock, surrounded by a faint fog. In the background, a weary professor performs a dramatic facepalm, clearly used to this kind of magical mischief.

Commentary: necromancers don't have to be gloomy, lonely types. You can be prom queen before becoming lich queen!

D&D spell illustration challenge, day 9: Chromatic Orb.

Hogwarts class of 1984 was noted for its huge number of graduate seekers missing a hand. Casting Chromatic Orb during a game was henceforth forbidden.

Prompt: In a wide, open sky high above a medieval arena, a group of teenage magic students zoom through the air riding on broomsticks between their legs in a fast-paced, chaotic game. Each wears a dark school uniform with wind-tossed capes and house-colored accents. Bright, glowing chromatic orbs—red, blue, green, yellow, and violet—zigzag between them, passed like enchanted dodgeballs or chased like living targets. One student reaches dramatically for a streaking orb, hand outstretched, while another dodges a near miss.

Commentary: Hermione's mischievous way of making quidditch less boring to watch, and seeking the snitch really worth 150 pts. I am a day late, so expect Circle of Death in a few hours.

D&D spell illustration challenge, day 10: Circle of Death.

When in a crowded tavern, you can patiently wait for the waiter to take your order, or Circle of Death the earlier patrons. Cheers!

Prompt: Inside a bustling, colorful tavern—full of laughter, firelight, and clinking mugs—a sudden wave of darkness spreads outward from the center of the room. The radius is a perfect sphere, draining all color where it passes: patrons caught inside are sallow, twisted, crawling in pain or frozen mid-scream, their faces grayed and their bodies sagging as if wilting. Outside the sphere, everything remains warm and lively—except for a lone figure in a corner booth. A relaxed sorcerer, round faced, rosy-cheeked,, still holding a half-finished mug of ale, watches the chaos with a calm, satisfied smile, one boot resting casually on the edge of the table. He's wearing a plum-colored vest over a loose cream shirt, the sleeves rolled up. His hat has a golden enamel pin shaped like a golden skull.

Commentary: I couldn't decide between the two images. The second one does the draining of color and life while the rest of the tavern is yet untouched better, but the necromancer isn't having is boot on the table. It's still quite close of the image I had in mind.
