D&D General Any movement/update on Creative Commons SRD for previous editions?

Has there been any movement/udpate? Will they ever release them?

As far as I know, the last time we heard anything official from WotC about the older OGL stuff being converted to CC was way back in May 2024.

"What about the SRDs for previous editions?

Because we still need to complete reviews on those materials before they’re released into Creative Commons, we made the decision to wait until after the 2024 rules revisions were released to begin reviews of those documents."

The 2024 rules revisions were released in April 2025. Dungeons & Dragons SRD 5.2 Is Officially Live It's been absolute silence about older editions being converted.

Personally, I have zero expectation of WotC ever releasing 3.0 or 3.5e material under CC. I would like to be wrong, but I do not have anything that would fall under the category of "hope". They simply don't have enough financial reason to follow through with it.

Man, the part I was most excited about was older editions (2e, 1e) and 4e hitting CC. Especially 4e, since it's such a unique beast and it has such an ardent group of fans, I'd expect there to be a lot of interest there.

It's 1e that I'd like to see opened up.
