For what it's worth, if you want to post the entirety of a URL but don't want it to automatically turn itself into a hyperlink, use the following tag:

<code> </code>

...except change the <> to [ ].

That's how you make it so things like
Code:
https://www.google.com
aren't links that people can click on.

That is more work than just deleting the "https:"
 


Starting last week, I am periodically redirected to the website listed below when I am here at EnWorld. This does not happen when I'm browsing other websites, and I've checked to make sure my system was up-to-date and free of viruses and malware. It occurs to me that I should have gotten a shot of the web address I'm being sent to, and I'll try to get one next time this happens. I'm not sure if anyone else is experiencing the same thing.
