I mentioned in the other thread that I thought Judomaster would save Economos and Adebayo. Maybe that is completely wrong but I feel like he is going to be the guy who is like, "How did you idiots not notice that immediately?" and "Killing you moved a few notches down my priority list when we landed in a world full of Nazis."

I have been digging it. I am ashamed to admit that I did not notice the lack of diversity in the other universe, but as everything there was going so well for Chris, I knew that something truly horrible had to be lurking somewhere to convince him to go back home (which we know he will). When the lady slowed down looking at Ads, I said "Oh there it is." Yikes!
Yeah, one thing I've seen discussed that he might have been pointing out in a genius manner is why representation matters. I know that for PoC, if you go into an area, you immediately notice if there's no one like you there. I think that's a lived in experience that some might not be aware of- other than when traveling abroad, i.e. the relief "You're American!"

So Other Dad turned out to actually be the Dad Chris always wanted despite the world he lived in. 😢

And man, I felt soooo bad for Chris at the end of this last episode.
I never knew that I would mourn for Blue Dragon. I mean, from Vij's point of view, taking down Blue Dragon was not a stretch. I've seen some also say that he might not be a Nazi, but he wasn't good, but I take a different view on it and see his view as all too human. You'll have people that buck the system, i.e. the Sons of Liberty (though the indiscriminate terrorism was a bridge too far) or Vigilante. But for many beat down (especially since if this was WW2, it had been this way since he was a kid or before he was born) and you just fall into it and accept it, even if you don't agree with it. That doesn't make you a bad person, IMO.

I thought he was an interesting play on the criticism that super heroes primary purpose is to defend the status quo, by making the status quo something we would find disgusting. Especially considering we saw Clark taking steps toward not simply doing that in Superman.

And getting criticized for that sort of thing by... Peacemaker :ROFLMAO:

He turned on those cops pretty quick and took them out which kind of told me that this was a guy actively trying to make his world better even though he probably passed as “one of them”.
