What have you done since your first sale?

So I have sold 15 advanced copies of my book, the printed locally, soft cover, ringed binding version. Today I sold my first hardcover, real deal version of my book. Do you have any advice how to proceed from here? What would you do, or want to see from a tiny little start up like me?

Nothing sells old titles like putting out new titles. No one has ever been able to explain quite how this works, but it's definitely true.

Advertise, present. Fairs and conventions allow you to interact with potential buyers in person. Youtube videos can provide a canned but optimized presentation.

Provide a quickstart pdf of your book for poeple to test your product. Put out a trickle of free pre-rolled characters or encounter NPCs and flood suitable social media with these while also providing a place where people can access earlier offerings.

Stick a link to it in your signature and mention it wherever possible. For instance you’ve created a threat here about promoting your book but have actually named your book.

Never pass on an opportunity to advertise the book. As already posted here, you are asking what to do but didn't mention the book or how to order. When I had jury duty a few months ago, one of the prospective jurors mentioned during the question phase that he was a published author, his newest book and that it was on Amazon. Result - at least one new customer, me. It was a decent SF story, BTW. Plus I got to purchase from a local author.
