Just Because a location is not on the Atlas of Faerun doesn't mean its gone.

Folks are assuming just because a location isn't on the map that its been retconned away, but I found an example that disproved this.

In the Mythal section it mentions Myth Nantir, the Sea Elf city that grants water breathing, but Myth Nantir doesn't appear on the Atlas of Faerun map, even though other aquatic cities in the Inner Sea do.

So clearly its not reconned just because its not on the map. This goes for the second city of Dragonborn and other possibilities.

Maybe not, but is that second dragonborn city mentioned as being present anywhere? If not, then for newer players or players who aren't as into the lore as others, it might as well be gone. Like, I can see people stumbling across Myth Nantir and looking for more information because they think it might be a cool location to visit in game, but that's less likely for something that isn't on the map or mentioned in the latest books.

Well folks looking into the Tymanther capital, could still stumble upon its second city. I mean its an unfortunate oversight in both cases because those are some very cool locations.

I've seen at least a couple on the internet. I mean it might not be alot, but its more then zero. Especially among Dragonborn fans. My purpose was to give reassurance to them.
