It’s not really a review is it. More a list of observations. Things you would do differently due to personal preference. There’s not even a reason given for a lot of your observations. Like Narfel being an arcane empire for instance.
I love realmslore. I love the details. But I do think that it’s important to remember these are all just sources. Some are going to conflict and some are going to be more significant than others. Expecting it all to line up perfectly and the emphasis to be exactly where we each like, or even where it was in previous editions isn’t feasible.
I also think right off the bat, saying something is insanely overpriced and you’re never buying that kind of product again is a pretty punchy statement. If you feel that strongly then maybe you aren’t the target audience. This stuff will filter down to the wikis eventually. If there is one thing to say about Forgotten Realms and price - you get access to all the lore, for free. It’s just takes a bit longer for the wikis to catch up. Maybe that has led to unreasonable expectations about how much things cost.
