What Disney needs to do is spend money like stranger things does. Why do their sets look a billion times better than any marvel tv
And yet, people are hashing on it too. The problem isn't universal to any particular media. And some liked those, in all honesty. It has a lot more to do with things that have nothing to do with the media than the media itself, IMO.

The second trailer, which has not been released online, centers on Chris Hemsworth's Thor, who is seen walking through the woods and saying a prayer that he will be able to return to his daughter, Love. Thor is also shown kissing Love's forehead while she lies in bed.

"Father, all my life, I have answered every call, to honor, duty, to war," Thor says. "But now, fate has given me something I never sought: A child. A life untouched by the storm."

@chuckdee i got confused too, while the look in the trailer (now removed form the post) is fake, the Voice over part is not.

I think supergirl is going to make a ton of money

Captain America red hulk- uninspired and just sucked. Tv series sucked
She hulk- just awful
I could go on and on but it’s not fatigue.
You could have argued that a bit earlier because you were right that the products coming out were bad.

But Thunderbolts and Fantastic Four were well recieved. Audience and Critics both gave them very positive praise, they were not "bad movies". And they did pretty well at the box office....just not well enough for the crazy high budgets every marvel movie gets nowadays.

Superman made money, but it didn't make anywhere near the avenger movies in their heyday.

So yes....its fatigue. Greatest Marvel movie ever made could come out right now, it still won't do the numbers of old school marvel products. Deadpool and Spiderman are the exceptions, people just really like those products regardless of the rest of teh MCU.

For me, the multiverse is a narrative disaster. It's basically telling the audience that nothing really matters, because there are infinite realities, and if something goes wrong in one, we can fix it any time we like by switching to a different reality or pulling a beloved character from another reality.

If you look at the first series of films, up through Endgame the MCU is extremely character driven, and that's why it works. Post Endgame, it is often driven by setting. It's become about the Marvel Universe (multiverse) rather than about specific characters. So even an otherwise really good film like Thunderbolts finishes limply because it winds up feeling more like it was about extending the IP. Same with FF.

The first twenty films had a unifying theme, and it wasn't the MCU. It was the intersecting character arcs of Iron Man and Captain America. The fundamentally selfish man who learns to care for others more than himself, and the fundamentally selfless man who learns that sometimes you need to also care for yourself. That's why Endgame landed so perfectly.

What theme unifies the multiverse era of films?

Fantastic four- who was this marketed towards. Pascal was boring and so were many of the performances. Actress who played surfer was amazing in ozark but just doesn’t cut it in this. Moleman looks like he sold used cars
Holy cow, am I ever glad I saw FF4 on my Earth, and not yours! Sounds like they made a mess of it…
:)

If winter soldier type movie came out right now it would be good and gold

I guess. My earth it’s a dull family movie and thing doesn’t want to say clobbering, the cooo villians are flashback and the best part of movie is last 5 minutes
I guess my version was mostly forgettable and in my version I have zero desire to rewatch unlike avengers end game or guardians. Guardians I felt awful for a messed up raccoon and I cared zero for an alternate earth
The 5th plus reincarnation of Superman was far superior to anything since endgame and it’s the fault of Disney
Penguin was better than anything that marvel produced on television and I’m a marvel guy
