Does anyone have Kickstarter regrets?

A lot of the best material in those books is rules-agnostic, to be honest. It could be a breeze to use that stuff with your preferred system.
I disagree a bit here - the adventure materials is indeed easy to convert, thats why I will plunder it probably. But the full game needs more work because of the very distinct species and magic systems. At least thats what it looked like to me on a first glance, admittedly I did not do a deep dive yet.

I will see those Reaper skeletal dragons and raise you one Sophie's Revenge Heroic Scale Pirate Ship. At the time, one game I was in was a GURPS based historical themed pirate game.
Sold that one as well. Realised once it arrived a) quite how massively out of scale it was with my existing Pirate ships (Blood and Plunder models) and b) that the box was so big it was a struggle to actually store (and absolutely zero chance of hiding or denying its existence and purchase to Mrs crazy_cat!)

It looks so tempting in the KS campaign. One of my recent 'get organized' purchases was a pair of large bookcases for $1 each at a local university surplus sale. At least now, Sophie's Revenge is no longer a trip hazard on the floor. It is now in the same room with the 3D printed(also a KS thing) Traveller Scout Ship. Both are at the same scale. The pirate ship is longer then the Scout but the Scout is wider at the stern.

I have far more regrets on the board game end of things than I do RPGs. But then again, that might be due to the fact that if I'm kickstarting a board game it's far more likely that it's just for acquisition, as opposed to RPG's where, more often than not, I'm kickstarting them to support the creator.

Tilt Five
I was really expecting there to be a vibrant community and lots of apps available for it. Never materialized and I should have known that in advance. It's been in it's box for 2 years now with no reason to take it out and I doubt there ever will be.

Is this the bone dragon y’all are talking about? I painted it long ago (not very well mind you). I too had way too many bones minis. But a couple years ago when I was a vendor at Gamestorm, I put about 200 of them in a box and let people just grab one or two for free that walked by. Cleared out the whole box.

In my case I think it was the Kaladrax reborn min from Bones 1 - which if I remember right apparently came out bigger than Reaper had expected due to some confusion or miscommunication with the factory in China on dimensions! I do remember for definite it was massive, and far beyond what I'd ever anticipate being able to use in a game or on a reasonable sized gaming table (or even practically store without a bigger house to accommodate a much bigger gaming room).

I've only backed 20 or so crowdfunded RPG/boardgame projects. The only one I've been disappointed in was the latest Talislanta KS. The game is fine, but there were too many typos IMO (including on the maps), and the quality of the materials was mostly subpar. I understand this was a difficult project for all involved, and they have my sympathies. But it is what it is.

Just looked. I've backed 32 projects. Don't really regret any of them, because most were supporting fellow small time indie publishers. Even if I will never actually play with most of those things, it was good to support my fellow small time creators.
