There is a right way for me. What do I have to say to get you to understand that all opinions are equally valid, but only to those that hold them?
Look at the language. I constantly say "I think" and "IMO" in all my posts. Therefore, I don't present my opinions as fact.
Maybe you should stop telling people they are doing things wrong then, which you do with clockwork regularity when they do it differently than you do.
Yup, you have a very different picture of what your posts look like than a lot of people who read them. That's both interesting and informative.
It bothers me when people present their opinions without labeling them as such. It also needlessly leads to confusion. I'm not the only person here reading and responding to posts, and I really think we'd reduce acrimony as a community if folks were more clear about presenting subjective statements as subjective.
Give me an example of what you're talking about. I don't get it.
I tell them I have a different opinion, and clearly label it as such by using appropriate language.
What makes you think "a lot" of people feel the way you do about me? How are you not just attacking right now?
