Agreed. Too few episodes IMO. I really prefer the 9-12 episode season, especially if you're going to have long gaps.Dang. It's over already! I really enjoyed that series. Fingers crossed for more next year!
Well, the story was pretty concise. If they'd doubled the length, it would just be full of filler.Agreed. Too few episodes IMO. I really prefer the 9-12 episode season, especially if you're going to have long gaps.
Or they could tell more of it at a time. They are doing a second season after all.Well, the story was pretty concise. If they'd doubled the length, it would just be full of filler.
I guess. Then we’d have fewer seasons.Or they could tell more of it at a time. They are doing a second season after all.
But more episodes at a stretch before having to wait a year or more. To each their own.I guess. Then we’d have fewer seasons.
I think the other thing that's missed in this weighing the pros and cons - this was really good- and the fact that they had a short and concise story to focus their attention on might have contributed to that. Extra episodes is a lot more effort and if they had a story for 6 eps, let them cook is what I say. I think the Acolyte was made less than it could have been by this need to be a specific number of episodes. But more episodes at a stretch before having to wait a year or more. To each their own.
He's also a smart kid surrounded by dummies. Him feeling the need to correct people is probably deep in his bones.I took this as a way to emphasize the 'what's in a name' motif of the show.
Some King declaring that these people are or aren't a Kingdom isn't reality, in the same way that someone being officially a knight doesn't make them so if they're not upholding what it means to be a knight.
I'm not sure that it undermines Egg's character, I thought the point was that he's was not like other Targaryen princes?
