WotC President of D&D consumes own "product"

I don't stan for billionaires and there isn't a timeline where Warren Buffet is a cool old man, but the fact he's eaten Dairy Queen twice a day since he became the primary shareholder of their parent company? Makes me want to eat their food and buy their stock. Not because it's cool, but because the guy who can afford anything he wants prefers to show faith in his own brands.
Also, chocolate covered cherry Blizzards are delicious. (I have no idea if that's his flavor of choice but if not, it ought to be.)

I'm here for it. Maybe I'm just An Olde, but it doesn't feel like "hello fellow kids" energy to me, it feels like old school "I wouldn't sell you a product I don't believe in" energy. Something I wish we had a little more of.
That’s the point, that’s exactly what it’s supposed to make you think. But, like all marketing, it’s a ploy to part you from your money.

Sure. But having grown up in the 20th century and now living in 21st century, I miss the good old days when peak marketing meant trying to convince your potential customers that your product was better than everyone else's, instead of trying to insinuate themselves into my monkeysphere and convince me to buy things to "show" or "own" people I'm supposed to dislike.

Marketing is a good thing–or at least it used to be–and I wish more of the marketing in my media consumption was for products that I might actually want to buy, instead of "engagement" with things I'm trying to avoid on purpose because they're injurious to my mental health.
