So... for the mathematically challenged... is that a lot?

Keeping the math to a minimum-- a gram of antimatter (let's say hydrogen) annihilating with a gram of matter produces roughly a WWII Hiroshima-sized* atomic blast. Said gram of hydrogen is roughly 600 sextillion protons**, or 6.5 sextillion times as many as were stored here.
*I guess that was only 15 kilotons, and the antimatter explosion would be 40, but still same ballpark.
**plus electrons, but those are small enough to get lost in the significant digits here.

So no, not much at all.

But I was commenting in jest. The conversation between that truck driver and their spouse beforehand would have been more like 'so your job is to deliver the most expensive and most fragile material on the planet -- one that has never before been transported so much as across the street, much less across town? You're doing it in a company vehicle, right? I saw what happened to our insurance rates when junior backed into that light post...'

No. Anti-proton or antiproton is the accepted term.

Way back when, "negatron" was a term used for electrons that came out of beta-decay, but it was an outdated use even when I was in grad school.

These days, "Negatron" sounds more like a transforming robot character.

Hmmm... Since it's more work just to keep ani-matter existing than it's worth, we'd be talking about a thief that does it just to prove they can.
