Monk in armor?

in the monk section from PHB it is stated this:
"[...]her special abilities all face the arcane spell failure chance that the armor type normally imposes"

Does that means that I have to throw a % of failure on ALL special abilities that a monk (probably multiclass) wearing an armor can have? Even with Still Mind, Purity of body, deflect arrows, etc.?

Need more clarification about that thanks.

Also I would like to say that I know that she loose her wis bonus to AC while wearing an armor.

Quite simply, if you wanna wear armor, why didn't you build a Fighter instead?

"When wearing armor, a monk loses her AC bonus for Wisdom, AC bonus for class and level, favorable multiple unarmed attacks per round, and heightened movement. Furthermore, her special abilities all face the arcane spell failure chance that the armor type normally imposes. "

What is a 'special ability'? Just the supernatural and extraordinary ones? Can the monk still Flurry with his regular BAB? Does he lose all his monk feats? I'm assuming that includes Evasion.

Please designate if you are offering an opinion, or some obscure sage answer/eratta.

No Flurry. No increased movement. No Wisdom AC bonus.

Everything else is special ability and may or may not work. Evasion, etc. are all special abilites.

Yes, i have two copies of the PHB, thanks. Says who? Flurry seems more like a class ability. Nothing special about it, rangers get the same thing at first level. 'Favorable multiple unarmed attacks' clearly reffers to the UAB, but not necesarilly the pseudo-feats of Flurry.

Again, where are you getting this from?
