Is there a spell that reflects attacks?

I was looking through the Epic section of the SRD, specifically the seeds of epic magic. Most of them correspond fairly obviously with spells in the SRD. But not all; I happened to find a line in the reflect seed that seemed unlike any spell that I know of:

If the reflect seed is used against a melee attack or ranged attack, five such attacks are automatically reflected back on the original attacker. For each additional attack reflected, increase the Spellcraft DC by +4. The reflected attack rebounds on the attacker using the same attack roll. Once the allotted attacks are reflected, the spell using the reflect seed is expended.

*Is* there a spell that reflects attacks on the attacker? Is there any spell or magic item whose effect is even vaguely related to this effect?

Spell Turning?

Fire Shield and Death Armor -sorta- perform a similar function. Retributive damage. Not a proper reflection, though.

Reflect Arrow redirects the arrow back to the attacker. IIRC, it's in the Spell Compendium - the mechanics are simple. It works the same as Protection from Arrows, but if it completely absorbs the damage from the arrow (ala Prot/Arrow), then the arrow actually reflects back to the attacker.
