As someone alluded to previously most of Jordan's names are borrowed from other sources (there are so many darn characters it's easy to understand why). And as the OP noted, some are then "Faentysyzh'ed". Personally I prefer names like that to Ub3r-R0xx0rs69
Most of the Forsaken are based on...
If you combine scout and fighter you can get all the feats needed to make skirmish fun. The usual archery feats + dodge , mobility and shot on the run make it much easier to obtain skirmish bonuses. Then it is just one more feat to pick up spring attack and you suddenly don't suck at melee.
Dwarves and Duergar are from Norse mythology and were actually the same race. The DnD Dwarves are obviously straight from Tolkein's version with the Duergar being the "classic" Norse version.

The term Dark Elf also come from Norse mythology and the...
I've found monks can very effective, even against full warrior classes, as grapplers. You do much more damage with the unarmed attacks than most opponents and your damage is lethal whhile theirs is normally nonlethal. Also your 3/4 isnt such a downer as their AC doesn't come into play. You...
I wouldn't want a rule like yours because running into walls is funny and I want an effect resulting from it.
No it doesn't happen a lot. That is why I suggested making a ruling on the fly so you obtain a reasonable result from the impact. There are situations where your rule would be...
Good reference.
I think this is one of those areas whare you can't just make a rule that will cover everything and have it be less than a page long. Just do what DnD players did for so long before 3.0 and make up a reasonable rule when you need one. Then remember it and apply it consistantly...
I've always thought to use thrown weapons in a full attack you need to have quick draw. If you don't, isn't drawing the next weapon a move equivilant action?
If I'm right, it may be an inportant feat to pick up for your build.
The portion emphasized would be my definition of Lawful good. I had inferred from the post I quoted that you were saying all LG = LS. Lawful stupid would be a PC that never lies, not even to save a thousand babies from being sent to the Abyss or the "detect evil and kill" type of paladin. My...
I've always thought of Lawful Stupid being the expression used to describe when someone Lawful Good to extremes rather than how most people play a lawful good character. For instance, won't lie no matter the circumstance, won't wear a disguise, etc.
Quoted just to reference the thread within a thread.
In the game I DM we have specified certain key things all Paladins try to uphold or not do. I think they are:
1 - Protect the innocent
2 - Slay evil
3 - Don't Lie
4 - Don't run/surrender
5 - Uphold the Law
Depending on the diety the pally...
Although it costs a caster level, Eldritch Knight might be a good option as it get a full BaB (full BaB, 9 caster levels over 10 levels). Will need to blow a feat on martial weapon proficiency or take a level in a class that grrants martial weapon prof. to qualify though. The martial...
There is also the feat in Complete Adveturer called Leap attack which requires a jump on a charge so, yes you can. The feat causes a multiplication of power attack to *3 on 2 handed weapons and *2 on one handed.
