Long-time DM - started playing with the D&D 'Red Book' many years ago in elementary school. Back then I mostly just created character after character, filling entire notebooks of characters that never played a single game.

In high school I started DMing an AD&D homebrew campaign and slowly ingested some 2nd edition stuff as that system came out. I also played in a Ravenloft campaign.

Then a decades-long break until about 6 or 7 years ago when my friends and I started playing a 4th edition campaign - another homebrew campaign I ran in my own original setting. That lasted until 5th edition came out and then the group kind of fell apart and this was the start of another short hiatus.

I work as a producer for an animation company and I was fortunate enough to co-write and produce the 'Rage of Demons' trailer for WotC. This quickly became a passion project, not just for myself but for the entire team. It remains one of the most fulfilling projects I've ever had the pleasure to produce! If you watch the trailer, keep an eye out for the hands being infected by Zuggtmoy - those are mine (under lots of makeup and effects)!

Anyway, because of this project the interest in D&D at work had been stoked to a high intensity and I was asked to DM a weekly game at work. So I ran the party through HotDQ and we're now nearing the end of Rise of Tiamat. It's been a lot of fun, but after all these years of DMing I'm longing to be on the other side of the screen and be able to just show up to game night with a character sheet and some dice for achange :)

Besides D&D I enjoy challenging video games (Dark Souls, XCom, etc), board games, reading, writing, photography, food, beer, cycling, golf and camping.
