okay i am so happy now, I thought that you my character would be fatigued until I was also rested for 8 hours I have this now. thank you all

So the 8 hours of rest just resets the number of rages taken. The time spent fatigued is just there so you aren't raging for an entire encounter?

My barbarian went into a rage for 2 turns and the rules say that he isn't fatigued after 4 turns and 8 hours of rest. but what is the point of the a certain amount of turns and then rest when you can just say rest?
