I just wanted to thank you for the sheet and to offer some encouragement for future updates - the sheet kicks butt!! After spending hundreds and hundreds of hours creating a sheet for 3.5 I'm now burnt out and I therefore greatly appreciate the work you're putting into this.

You want Masterwork armour? Just make sure you meet the minimum plus requirement depending on the type of Masterwork as required in the table.
You can have +6 plate armour. (+14 bonus)
You can have Dwarven +6 plate armour. (+14 bonus)
You can have +4 Warplate armour (+15 bonus)
You can have +6...
Crawling 'up to half your speed' (i.e. speed of 6 = 3 squares max at 1 per square) is different to crawling 'at half your speed' (i.e. speed to 6 = 3 squares at 2 per square). The former means you can shift (it costs 1 square), the latter means you can't (it costs two squares, unless you double...
Crawling 'at half speed' is subtly different to 'move up to half your speed'.
Crawling at half speed implies to me that you cannot shift into an adjacent square because it costs two squares (as in moving into difficult terrain), whereas
Crawling up to half your max speed implies that your...
Can a PC cut between two opponents when they are on a diagonal i.e. from 4 to 2 when there's opponents on 1 and 5. This means monsters can only 'hold the line' on exactly horizontal or vertical formations.
I can't remember where it was stated (the magic item exerpt?) that the weapon/armour/amulet was the only 'needed' items. The rest could be ignored in terms of number crunching and succeeding in the game - they only give more options. In fact, as I recall, the weapon/armour/amulet set could also...
This has been bothering me. I can't remember where it was stated (the magic item exerpt?) that the weapon/armour/amulet was the only 'needed' items. The rest could be ignored in terms of number crushing and succeeding in the game - they only give more options. In fact, as I recall, the...
For the skeptics, I would be interested if any of you have actually tried running a number of skill challenges? It would be interesting to see how many groups have won the KotSF skill challenge add-on with the pregens at 3rd level (where they would be in level for the challenge). Presumably this...
I think the feat gives an OA when the opponent is already adjacent ("enters a square adjacent to you"). It's effectively introducing threatening reach for PCs, but only when specifically moving to adjacent rather than through squares within reach.
The fighter ability simply means that after the...
Are we sure that stopping movement doesn't end the movement in the adjacent square? i.e. it prevents an opponent moving around a fighter, or into a flanking position. Surely the interrupt occurs once the opponent has entered the adjacent square because that's when the ability kicks in? After the...
I have the same problem - 3 players and therefore one role not taken. To me I have 2 options - 2 PCs per player (6 in the party) or 1 PC per player with a permanent NPC (4 in the party).
I am just winding up a 3.5 game where the players controlled 2 PCs each, i.e. 6 in the party and this made...
As a Brit and an engineer I'm definitely SI biased, although my age (nearly forty) means I'm imperial when it comes to distance and weight, go figure. I still voted imperial however, after all who wants to check for pits with a 3.048m pole? ;)
Apologies, I'm sure this has been asked before (and I can't find the forum search) but can someone explain blasts and bursts for me, such as Burst 1 or Close Blast 5?
What's the shape of a burst and a blast? What does the 'Close' definition refer to?
Cheers.
I guess I'll have to see how 4th plays. My experience of 3.0/3.5 (unfortunately) was definitely that the party have two or three encounters (i.e. only say 10% of the dungeon) whereupon they bugger off to rest for a day or two. Not fun, all that in and out business and can spoil the continuity...
