Wood Elves and Wild Elves - Different since?

Right. So I guess the "wood elf" category didn't really exist in the DL world. Yeah. Unified knowledge sometimes feels a little too standardized... in my memory the original DL modules were a glorious and chaotic thing, full to the brim with information. Anyway, thanks for the correction.

Wood Elves and Wild Elves - Different since?

I don't know how relevant that is, but I first became aware of the different types of elves through the DragonLance novels, where the Silvanesti corresponded to "High Elves", the Qualinesti to "Wood Elves" and the Kagonesti to "Wild Elves". Maybe that was just the DL version of existing...

    Lords of Waterdeep

You can find out a little bit more (including some pictures of actual gameplay by the designers) here: Lords of Waterdeep | Board Game | BoardGameGeek. The latest In the Works article also shows the game components: Dungeons & Dragons Roleplaying Game Official Home Page - Article (January: In...

Best Version of Keep of the Shadowfell

Hi. I suggest taking a look at the so-called "Orcus Conversion" of the whole H1-H3 arc, which can be found here: Whoops! Browser Settings Incompatible. Myrhdraak tweaked and fleshed out the whole story, and he's gone on from there and has also done P1. A stellar job, IMHO. Regards.

    South of Nentir Vale?

Hi. When I started my current campaign with my sons, I decided to use the Points of Light "setting", but to place it into the Forgotten Realms, since they (my sons) knew that world from the Baldur's Gate, Icewind Dale and Neverwinter Nights games. I looked for a place that would fit...

    Character Builders for earlier versions

Hi. I'm being very lazy here, haven't even done one search for this, but I was wondering if anyone knows of home-made character builders, online or not, for earlier versions of D&D. I'd specifically be interested in one for 2nd edition... Thanks!

    D&D Archetypes -- A Personal Exploration

Hi. I've recently started to explore (and compile in a Word doc) what I consider to be "D&D Archetypes". By that, I mean: monsters, races, magic items, spells. Starting with OD&D, I plan to make my way up to 4th Edition. When I'm done, I'll be able to observe how the concepts evolved (or not)...

Tomb of Horrors RPGA DM Reward

Katana Geldar: Sorry for the delay. From what I can gather, the cost of me sending it to Australia would pretty much be equal to me buying the hardcover "Tomb of Horrors" from Amazon... so I don't know. Sorry to be that way, I'm not doing this for gain, it's just that money is tight. Hope...

Tomb of Horrors RPGA DM Reward

I've got one Hey everyone. I just want to let you guys know that I have an extra (unopened) copy of "Tomb of Horrors" (WotC mistake) which I'd be happy to trade. I'm in Canada, so there would be some extra postal fees involved for those of you living in the US, but if that's okay, we can...
