I've been playing (A)D&D since 1992, and like to create the history of the characters I make.
I prefer stories in which magic is discrete, and it's not very usual to have invisible or flying adventurers.
I DO play these "power games", but I rather enjoy those games where heroic deeds, and going into challenges despite of the character's limitations, dictate the rhytm of the game.
