umm dude that's why races have favored classes and racial modifiers. Half orcs aren't to sharpest knives out there but if you really wanted to be a good half orc mage place a 16 or 18 in the stat making it a 14 or 16 and then get spell casting pridgy which effectively ups your int anyway...
Dude some of these abilities are wayyyy too abusive if placed in the wrong hands. The massive destruction ability could level cities and kill peasants instantly.
The class ins't bad but you need to limit the abilities.
First off with the requirements for spellcasting add stoneskin, wall of...
Hey there discussing this with numerous people and comparing it slighltly to the harper mage the original class seemed a little weaker than the harper mage with far more restrictions. So the class was toned up a bit and here it is in its glory.

I think this need to make a prestige class still does not solve the issue at hand. You have a problem with roleplaying in your group, there is no need to make a prestige class to solve that. You need to work with your players to get them into their role.
My very first character was a paladin...

"A ranger with a base attack bonus of at least +9 can choose to gain the Improved two weapon Fighting Feat, even if he does not have the other prerequistes for the feat. A ranger must be wearing light armor or no armor to gain this benefit."
It's not really a house rule...
Couple of things on epic level spells.
When creating a spell you can add mitigating factors to the spell to reduce the spell dc, some of which are taking damage, increasing the casting time, incresing the # of casters involved, or adding an xp price to the spell. THese combine help to lower...
Changed around the PrC some. Changed Elven Insight to a skill focus in spellcraft, representing the study of elven spell craft and elven magic. made elven Lore an insight bonus to any two knowledges of the player's choice, focusing more on the learning of lore aspect to the class. Then added...
I originally was thinking of Elven High Magic from Magic of Faerun but since there isn't a system and place and all indications lead that to be on an epic scale. So I'm at a loss.
Consider something with the elements, perhaps energy admixture or mastery of elemetns from archmage but niether...
Done dropped the skill points.
Thinking that perhaps adding a 5 ranks in wilderness lore requirment - would make it a little harder to get, would force a 10 point commitment? ideas?
Then would it help to add more requirements to obtaining the class? I was thinking another spell focus, or metamagic, or perhaps spell mastery. Wheras spell mastery would fit, it would prevent sorcerers and bards from getting the PrC.
Looking for input on developing a PrC. Possibly looking for simlar classes and or whether or not i should make it into a 10 level PrC instead

Elves with their natural inclinations towards magic have developed their own culture revolving around the magical arts. From these...
I have to agree that high level mages are difficult to battle when compared with a high level fighter but in the end when we start talk in the scale of epic combat your high level cleric is perhaps the worst of them all. One harm and any character is just about done for, and those nifty...
