I guess the worst part is someone who has access to the book and refuses to even crack the book to bother looking it up between turns, and then has the gall to ask you.
I was excited for Pathfinder 2e, but the more and more that comes out, the more I'm hoping someone like Dreamscarred Press or another 3rd party keeps 1e going. There is a lot to like from what I've seen but more I can't stand. Resonance for one and now with the archetypes changes. Two things...
This got me thinking, is there any chance of a superhero sub-system for WOIN, that's crunchy like Mutants and Masterminds or Hero. My players really like dice pool systems and I've been looking into WOIN, and I like what I see, just curious if there was any plans for this. Mainly they find the...
I know I save money wherever I can. I only buy rpgs at discount on Amazon, and the occasional POD product from Drivethrurpg, and I stopped getting monthly comics to instead wait for months to get the trade at a discount on amazon. Where I was spending 200 dollars a month on comics It's down to...
I love Dreamscarred Press, I hope they do conversions of their Ultimate Psionic's, Akashic Mysteries and Path of War. I'd love to see some Pathfinder 2e material for 3.5's Tome of Magic, Shadow Caster ,True Namer and Binder (I think rite publishing made a binder) need some Pathfinder support...
My ongoing homebrew for Pathfinder is level 25, my D&D 3.5 Forgotten Realms game from years ago is level 54, Mutants and Masterminds 3e ranges from Power Level 10-20 with most between PL 13-16, New World of Darkness characters are nearing 1,000 XP on a 7 year old campaign. We used to play from...
I just want new stuff to play with, sure a conversion manual for each of the classes, spells, feats whatever in 1e, but I don't really want to have to wait 2-3 years for Ultimate Combat 2e to play a Gunslinger and spend another 44 dollars on a book I already own. I'd like some rules for...
Superteam Handbook is good to see. I hope it has more rules than freedomverse fluff. I'd still like to see a Mecha and Manga 3e and Warriors and Warlocks 3e. I think the reason they were so good was they were filled with new rules and didn't have tons of campaign fluff.
I like the touch of high powered play in the book. I think all games need high powered rules or something that continues play past a certain level. I find with my group everyone gets attached to their character and no one wants the game to stop, so we played 3.5 to 54th level, NWOD to 700+...
PDF's should always be under 20$. Its bad enough hardbacks at 253 pages is 44.95 + plus tax. I understand inflation and things going up but I buy all my books if I can on Amazon, that 44.95 book i mentioned, cost me 26 on there.
I'd love to see rules for mechs, in the vein of the D20 Future mechs, though as walking tanks rather than adding stat bonuses to Str, Con etc. Just a big huge book full of mech rules, pieces, classes, Kaiju for the mecha to fight. All sorts of mecha from the chicken walking battletech like mechs...
Hopefully this means new 3.5, cause I really miss buying D&D books. Pathfinder is ok, but too different for me to want to bother converting it to 3.5. I'll play a game, but dont want to run one.
