I started playing D&D when I was seven years old, back in the mid '90s. I've had much more experience as a DM than as a player over the years, but I'm keen to be on the other side of the DM screen for a change. I am usually free in the evening (except for Tuesdays), and I would very much like to find a gaming group on the Peninsula or in the South Bay (San Francisco Bay Area).

I would also love to play the Star Trek RPG (by Decipher), the Buffy the Vampire Slayer RPG (Cinematic Unisystem), Call of Cthulhu d20, the Serenity RPG, or the Farscape RPG (although some serious retooling of this last would probably be necessary, as whoever wrote its mechanics did a very sloppy job).

I am definitely up for online gaming with the use of suitable gaming-specific programs and/or Skype. I think it would be especially fun to get a chance to game with people from other parts of the world this way, should opportunities present themselves. (Is anyone running a morning/mid-day game in Australia?) Of course, I'm perfectly happy to game online with those living closer, too.
