I grew up teaching myself and my friends the wonderful world of Basic D&D. We quickly moved to Advanced and then a whole host of other gaming systems. It was wonderful. Over the years there have been long pauses in my gaming (life happens). When D&D 4.0 came along, it was great pulling together new players and a few experienced ones so we could all learn it together. It was like my childhood all over again. Life happened and I'm in another gaming pause, but gaming always comes back. Play long and prosper, folks!
