    Why D&D is like pr0n

What does role vs. roll have to do with porn?

Drow Religous Training for their Youth

If you don't mind taking ideas from others, read some of the Driz'zt books. Homeland takes place mainly in a drow city, and there is much Lolth imagery. Lots of spiders and knives and sacrifice. I imagine much of the training involves combat training and domination.

    Post-Campaign Exhaustion

At the end of our last campaign (I was the DM), which was also the first campaign that had a "real" ending, we were so rushed. We had already been talking about what we were going to do next, so the players' minds were already set on the future. We rushed through the final dungeon and they...

    Conflicts and Plots

This is really good, I like the Character vs. his Type, that is super tailored to D&D.

    Let your party rule

So your PC's are literally 'ruling' this new town? Getting new citizens (to replace the vampires) and building up the economy, etc.? Not a bad idea, if that's what your players are in to. Lots of room to explore the surroundings and inner workings of the towns. But did you mean EVERYONE...

They might be movies: tense gaming moments

We were hitching a ride on a pirate ship to get across the ocean, and it turned out that the captain was a slaver and was preparing to dump us on a pirate island to be sold off. We confronted the captain in his office, and his entourage of rogues popped out from behind curtain and wardrobes and...

RPG books that inspired your D&D campaigns

The novel, "The Lies of Locke Lamora" did a lot for me. It was set in a low-magic city sort of like renaissance Venice. So cool. And most of the 3.5 supplement books have been really inspirational, too. The Races books, and the Complete series.

    Streamlining the d20 system

I like the abilites, and I freaking love feats, so thats nice. But I think that the more skills there are avaiable, the merrier. People can do a lot of stuff. Instead of combining things, (bluff and forgery = deception) try breaking it down more. But that's just my opinion. Other than...

    WWII Tank Crew RPG

This is an idea I've been toying with in my head for a few years now. I'm not sure what system I would use, (d20, d%) or anything, but I'm pretty sure I would stick to d20, like I'm used to. Races would be like Russian, French, British, Canadian, etc. Classes would be navigator, driver...

    Minor Good Gods

Math God. but yeah, breaking down specific things seems really good. I might even use some of those for my games.

    Gaming Music

Make all your players looks up the songs on youtube, then count down and all hit play at the same time. :D

I want to make a gauntlet - and not the glove kind.

Pits. So many pits. Pits with things at the bottom, (spikes, monsters, poison mushrooms) pits with pits inside those pits. Pits with pits at the bottom with spikes and monsters at the bottom of those pits. Illusory pits. An illusory pit with a real pit right after. Room full of pits...

    Group advice! Please help!

The whole point is to have fun, so if you're not having fun, then you're losing! My advice would be to talk to some of your friends in the group, to see if anyone else shares your perspectives on NG#1 and #2. If so, maybe you could talk to your DM to 'finish up' the campaign in a few weeks...

    The motives of evil cultists

Evil diseasy experiments to create a plague. And to make minions for their undead army. As to why they're abducting whole families, they're doing so that the zombies already know each other when they're zombies! Less training.
