    In my group, the encounters I throw at the party are not numbered by how many party members there are- 5 party members, 5 enemy for the encounter. If an encounter has the party meet superior numbers/more powerful foes, the party has the option to run and fight another day.... or ake the chance...

    I was wondering, the steed that is summoned by this 2nd level paladin spell- does this creature need to eat and drink? Also, when it disappears (for whatever reason), all the gear- saddle, bags, bit/bridle, blanket- would just fall to the ground and not disappear along with the steed, correct...
