Thanks everyone! :) That was caused by a database migration. I've been (very very slowly) fixing them up as I can. Jeff

The final deity for the project as it stands right now is the Nixie Queen, Sarula Iliene, a minor elven and faerie deity of fresh water. She is worshipped by both nixies and those elves who live in or near lakes and rivers and other fresh water sources. As this is the final deity for now, I...

I don't know enough about the themes of Wordpress to know if that can be set up, sorry! Jeff

The enigmatic yak-men of the Al-Qadim campaign are one of the more interesting “hidden threat” foes in AD&D. They can take over the bodies of humanoids and infiltrate their society in order to undermine and eventually dominate them. Their god, the Faceless God, is even stranger, for it has no...

The way I see it, humans are very prolific and numerous compared to other races, and there are LOTS of hidden cults lurking around large cities. :)

Merrgsh and Armmegh were brought to my attention not too long ago over on the Candlekeep forums by none other than Eric Boyd himself. Published in Polyhedron #58 (March 1991) as part of a contest to identify a picture drawn by Jim Holloway, Merrgsh and his wolf Armmegh were written (by Wes...

The final elemental power is the enigmatic The Elder Elemental God, the Lord of All Matter. Imprisoned in times long past, it can still manifest to a degree on the Prime, which encourages its followers to try and feed it power and weaken its bonds still further in hopes of releasing it. Jeff

There would likely be good relations between Melira's church and the Harpers; many of her followers who travel about to gain news and determine how other lands are treating elves and such could easily also be Harpers. Oghma's church would probably see half-elves as more "rightfully" human, so...

The last of the elven deities published in Dragon #155 and updated in Dragon #236 is Melira Taralen the Songstress, goddess of musical creation and musicians. Dragon #236 also described Melira as patron to elven minstrels (the kit from PHBR07 Complete Bard’s Handbook) and half-elven bards, which...

Maanzecorian the Philosoflayer always fascinated me, as a knowledge- and philosphy-loving deity of a very evil race. He always felt like the perfect patron of Estriss, the illithid in the Cloakmaster Spelljammer novel series. I was disappointed when he was unceremoniously slain in the Dead Gods...

Another near-power, and one of the famous old-school lower planar entities, Anthraxus is one of the few Yugoloths with a cult. He was once the Oinoloth and strives to become so again, and uses his cult not to propel him to godhood but simply to advance his many agendas. Jeff

The only information I know for sure on Vecna's priesthood is from WGA4 Vecna Lives! and Die Vecna Die, but considering his differing status throughout, they may be inconsistent. VL is also in the Legends & Lore format. I am not familiar enough with Lovecraft or Elric stuff to do either of...

The last of the good archomentals, Sunnis, is the closest thing to a leader the group has. She advocates for a united front against the evil archomentals, but has not yet had much success, especially with the obstinacy of Ben-hadar. To he followers, she is a motherly figure who embodies...

Even in later editions, it doesn't feel very explicit from what I've seen, but in 1e and 2e they feel more like bureaucratic politicians in charge of the hells rather than patrons of specific aspects of life. It doesn't help that the leaders of the layers have changed between editions, too.
