Ysande takes stock of the situation and perceives that the wizardly elf seems to be struggling, whilst her more martial sister is so far presenting a much bigger problem to her assailants. That's cool, though note that High Imperial would probably only be spoken in the Elemental Courts with Astresian ambassadors and the like. Amongst themselves they would speak one of the four elemental tongues, with a whole complex etiquette in place around which of the languages is spoken...

I hadn't got around to naming the language, but I rather like the 'High Imperial' that James Heard put on his sheet. I think I'll go with that as the Empire's own tongue - used for religious ceremonies and high Astresian culture. Standard speech is in Common, the trade language spoken as neutral...

I'd also be very interested in getting in on the waiting list, this sounds like a blast. :D We do what we must because we can. For the good of all of us. Except the ones who are dead.
