When lockdown came there was a need for a simple to use, free alternative to other online dungeon master tools. Built for quick encounters with as little “faff” as possible and being free to use, BattleMapp is both accessible and inexpensive to the average tabletop roleplayer.
BattleMapp’s features include a 3D workspace, token tools, character tools, props, premade map segments, a simulated, animated ocean with ships and frigates to play with, animal companions, spells and lighting effects and much more. The features are ever expanding and with BattleMapp we hope to allow players and Games Master’s alike get lost in their own stories like never before.
BattleMapp is currently available here and hosted on Itch.io and there is no sign-in or download needed as it runs directly in the browser. If you are feeling generous, though, there are expanded features available to Patreon supporters for £5 per month.
