They have been making a lot of Beyond updates to bring back 2014 content that they messed up in the character builder when they launched 2024. They are also doing a massive database rebuild.

Correct. They load the physical tiers with junk. It is one reason EN Publishing projects are always a back for me. They are reasonable. Monte Cook Games always offers real value too. Their tiers are books and more content.

I have backed over 200. I would have to go through the tubs to try and match the junk to the KS.

There are a lot of KS campaigns that add more books to higher tiers that force bloat into those tiers if you want the added books.

You have a different model. Personally, when MCG etc adds more books or expands the ones that offer, then that gets me excited. The most recent Odyssey KS where stretch goals included more subclasses got me excited. Dice, minis, pins, stickers….those just turn me off now.
