I am the DM. None of them want the role so if I do not run, then they do not play. They also trust me to pick something they would enjoy.

I backed Cosmere but never see myself running or playing it. I like the novels but fail to see the appeal in adventuring in the setting.

I have enough 5e content to last forever. If they remove 5.0 from DDB, then I’d switch my primary system to A5E or Tales. I just would not touch PF2e and it’s crunch. I could also happily go back to 2e. Otherwise, I’d move to C&C or Cypher. My groups would use whatever system I suggested.
