There was no debt. A failed KS does not place any debt’s on the creator. It may generate goodwill for the backers who got shafted but it does not square any debts. I wish there was a debt. At least I could go after Sarli for his e20 scam. JG never owed anyone for the failed KS.

I have seen the Yorktown thing too but Scotty says in ST-5 that it was newly built.

It was a new-built Constitution II class ship and not a refit. Scotty states this in ST:V. It was rechristened from either the Atlantis or Ti-Ho before its trials. Starfleet built several of these before switching to the Excelsior class.

Constitution Refit/A is my favorite by a country mile.

I think the amount of net social media use contributes. It depends on where you source things too. I think folks are generally less informed now than when we had fewer sources of record.

No. They were aware several years ago. If they had a contractual obligation to do more when they announced no new business with JG, then they should have said it at that time. It feels more like they waited for the anger to settle and tried to test the waters. It seems to have not hurt them in...
