herzog, i don't think having to buy each attachment and equip them beforehand is what i'm looking for, and as for grafting, theres going to be times when my technomancer will want to look normal in addition to the previous problem.

does any one know a good technomancer class? and please don't say artificer because thats not what i'm looking for. my vision is of a man who introduces metal into his body, which he can then shape into different magical built in weapons on the fly. could anyone help me with this?

he can use his standard SLAs as much as a standard sorceror, as well as his domain SLAs as many times as i described. in other words he gains domain casting in addition to regular casting

this seems to make high level characters effectively gods. kinda powerful, even for level 40+ characters. if you really wanted them to be more powerful, just give them access to the feats.

I once heard someone mention using "essentia", which was pure magic. as you quested,you could gain this in stores of treasure, or buy it. Unfortunately i don't remember where I heard it.
