Didn't really mean intentionally except to the point that the incompetence can easily be seen to lead to the same result. The only thing to do is produce something terrible, which would still be bad for all involved, or give the money back.

Also Kobold Press Midgard is among the best settings. Don't know everything about it but never saw a bad review.

Just checked KS for the old effort. 965 backers pledged $85,000, 304% of the goal ($28,000). The failure of this, where the publisher is alive and well, still kicking as it were, doesn't seem anything other than intentional theft. Either produce something, which would likely be low quality...
