This pretty much for me. Also, if I really love the IP , it is kind of a show of support for it. Just a personal thing, not something I expect from others. If I know others who like the IP, it also decreases the barrier of getting a group together.

I don't find it that odd that the adventure would be placed after all the world stuff. I don't have the book though so maybe I am missing something.

I've not seen this show, but judging by its popularity, it might be a smart thing to do. Do it while it is still hot. It would be gross but I guess they could also go in-house and do another Jem reboot and ahem incorporate some ideas from K-Pop Demon Hunters.

Boring because it would not be a giant leap, but I'd love to see something like Delicious in Dungeon or Frieren: Beyond Journey's End adapted to D&D. Similarly, stuff like DragonQuest on the videogame side would be fun to see.

I think it looks fun. I'm sorry to those who don't think that Star Wars should be fun. It's a first trailer. I just hope that by trailer 3 not everything is spoiled for the movie.

I'm sure a lot of folks like this type of thing, but this and the similarity to FFG games, are a hurdle for me. Maybe one day I'll get over it, but for now, I think I'll pass. Thanks for the additional info.
