What I liked the most about a Paizo Adventure Path is that they previewed what was coming so I knew, as the DM, in a very rough sense what the story arc was. With this adventure path they haven't previewed anything as far as I can tell so I don't know if I'm interested in the arc as a whole.
No, it just means that the hydra loses 1 attack but then immediately gains 2 more. It can use the attacks on it's turn. It's not an immediate attack, it's instead a change the # of attacks the creature gets that happens immediately.
I like this mechanic a lot. It's a lot more simple then the...
Being small, you're also going to miss out on a lot of usable loot. Weapons and armor are sized and from what I heard at D&D XP you can't use incorrectly sized weapons or armor. You'd be able to sell it of course, but not use it.
On the stat cards from Dungeons of Dread the Oni has a Large...
More monsters
This is from the Dungeons of Dread mini pack. I've added on to the end of the file that someone else put together earlier in this thread.
Effects that Immobilized (move of 0 square) my character were somewhat common when I played at D&D XP, or at least more common then my low level play experience in 3.5. I made pretty good use of my thrown weapons when immobilized to attack creatures who were not adjacent to me.

Light is a "Utility" spell in 4E. Fireball (or it's equivalent) is an Attack power. Wizards gain Utility and Attack powers separately. So a 30th level wizard will have 4-5 daily attack powers and 4-5 daily utility powers. You'll never have a 30th level wizard with 8-10 attack powers and 0...
I'm pretty sure they won't be releasing this before the books are out. They will be releasing a new LFR preview adventure for Worldwide D&D Game Day (June 7th, 2008). So on Worldwide D&D Game Day you could play the adventure they provide (4E), plus a Living Forgotten Realms (LFR) preview...
Wizards have seven "buckets" of powers
One bucket is rituals.
Wizards also have "attack" and "utility" powers. These are completely separate from each other and you gain them separately. These powers are divide by the usage: at-will, encounter, and daily. So the other six "buckets" are...
Burst effects are square and are centered on a square, not the corner of a square. A power with "Burst 1" covers 9 squares, the targeted square plus all surrounding squares.
"Continual Light" is a low level ritual (source: 4E judge/playtester)
"Scrolls are rituals" (source: James Wyatt)
The primary limit on rituals is that they cost money.
