New Tunnels & Trolls first look at UK Games Expo.

As far as I can tell from the reports and writeups, the Rebellion game has nothing to do with T&T except the name. Stats are different. Mechanics are different. That's 95% of what T&T is, so there's not a lot left to identify it as the same game.

Are there any submarine based RPGs?

"An accident at sea transports the Canadian Research Submarine HMCS Chalk River into intersteller space." Probably not quite what you had in mind…

SF Adventures in the Solar System?

A favourite of mine, Forgotten Futures II: The Log of the Astronef — A Role Playing Sourcebook For George Griffith's Scientific Romance Stories of Other Worlds, by Marcus L. Rowland is part of the Forgotten Futures series and offers a late Victorian view of exploration in our solar...

QuestWorlds is coming—who else is hyped?

Yup. It's on Chaosium' website for $20, which puts it outside of being a casual PDF purchase for me. I already have the previous edition, so not feeling a rush to update but I'll probably get it eventually. Edited to add: It's huge! Looked at the preview and the ToC shows that it's over 330...

    What are your go-to dice?

Either standard Grey Ghost Fudge dice (if I'm playing Fudge, obviously), or else Gamescience dice. They're clear and readable, roll well and stop quickly. Still no sign of wear after several decades of play.

    Tell your overdue Kickstarter story

Coming up to ten years now for Legacy, Kevin Rolfe's adventure collection for Squadron UK. I pulled out of this one before it closed, but a friend didn't. The most annoying part is that it was due to include The Lancelot Caper, Marcus L. Rowland's legendary unpublished Golden Heroes adventure...

    We’re On BlueSky

Sorry, I don't. I follow a couple of Threads accounts from Mastodon, but I don't know any of the technical details.

    We’re On BlueSky

For those of you on BlueSky, please consider following Bridgy, which allows your account to be followed from Mastodon. Because BlueSky is not properly federated (yet… they keep promising), Mastodon users can't currently follow and chat with you there, so this provides a way to have both sides...

Discworld's Headed For A Million Dollars!

I'm astonished by how popular this is proving, given that we already had a Discworld RPG for years, written by Phil Masters with input from Terry Pratchett himself. It was popular, sure, but the new one seems to have stirred up a frenzy despite an unknown system.
