If you've seen Eye of the Beholder, they talk about this and how they only recovered so much original art from the dumpsters through dumb luck. I can't fathom the level of thinking that led to such a thing. (But we're thoroughly off topic now...)

I just read Weasel's Luck over the summer, since it's one of three Dragonlance novels that inexplicably still exist in my small-town library (the others are Legends, Book One and... Three). I found it quite clever, and Weasel had a very strong voice that the author quite clearly relished writing...

I prefer the strategy of picking someone kind-of-well-known-but-not-really-oh-right-he-was-in-that-thing famous, rather than famous famous, which would be in line with earlier casting. This makes me hesitant to throw out any specific names. Much of it depends on what "kind" of Bond they want...

I think they've done it once since the pandemic and wound up with a COVID-19 breakout, so they switched it to virtual the following year and haven't resumed in-person since. I wonder if cost effectiveness is also a factor.

I wish they'd go back to an in-person format for PaizoCon. They could just do it hybrid and not lose the online contingent.
